Our Mission Statement

The Kinders Unit at Mt. Carmel provides quality child care and an early childhood education program to meet the needs of both the student-parent and the child. Professional staff provides on-campus care and education according to guidelines of the Ministry of Education Standard.  The programs offer a multicultural environment that promotes the strength and value of human diversity.

We provide developmentally appropriate activities which stimulate children’s intellectual and creative abilities, enhance motor development, and contribute to the acquisition of social skills are the foundation of the curriculum. Independence is encouraged by giving children the freedom to make choices. Each child is viewed as an individual with their own rate of growth and development.
